Shantra -
Hey. My mom just let me know about your mom. I'm so sorry for your loss. If theres anything I can do for you, or if you just need to get out and let off a little steam, let me know.

Wow! your Mom was a great woman and you are a great daughter.
Shan, be strong and courageous!
Do not be afraid or discouraged.
Our God and father is with you.
Psalm 23
Go fot it, we're behind you!
Juan.
I was surfing by and was touched by a fellow believer's loss. May His grace and peace be with you and your family.
Hey Shan!
So sorry to hear about your mom. I never met her, but I feel like I have from reading your blog over the year.
Take care and cling to your friends and family around you.
You are loved!
Erin
Please read this poem and give it some thought and let's not leave Shantra along in the room with the elephant.
THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM
By Terry Kettering
There's an elephant in the room.
It is large and squatting,
so it is hard to get around it.
Yet we squeeze by with,
"How are you?" and, "I'm fine,"
and a thousand other forms of trivial chatter.
We talk about the weather;
we talk about work;
we talk about everything else-
except the elephant in the room.
There's an elephant in the room.
We all know it is there.
We are thinking about the elephant
as we talk together.
It is constantly on our minds.
For, you see, it is a very big elephant.
It has hurt us all, but we do not talk about
the elephant in the room.
Oh, please, say her name.
Oh, please, say "Anne" again.
Oh, please, let's talk about
the elephant in the room.
For if we talk about her death,
perhaps we can talk about her life.
Can Shantra say, "Anne" or "my Mom" to you
and not have you look away?
For if she cannot,
then you are leaving her alone
in a room - with an elephant.
