Congratulations Janko, Lea, and Adam!

1st,2nd, and 3rd Place! Yahoo! Way to go Janko, Adam, and Lea! Yesterday three of my students competed in an English Competition in Slovakia. They did an incredible job! Way to go guys! I am so proud of you!

This morning I decided to dig through an old box of books in our library and guess what was buried? A treasure- a Francine Rivers book! The book was not only written by my favorite author, but it was in English! This was not the only buried treasure.… I found some great books to use for my science classes! Oh, I just love surprises! I'm sure my students will too!

Can I tell you yesterday was incredible! Out of nowhere I passionately desired to fall and worship God with thanksgiving. Nothing special happened ...…no big booming voices from Heaven rained down or anything, but the urge to just thank Him became so evident. In a culture where smiling at someone on the street is unusual... I broke all sorts of cultural laws and loved it! I didn't care. I was so overwhelmed with happiness and I could not hold it in! It didn't matter that I looked incredibly goofy on the bus. My heart was happy! Oh it was good. It had been a long time.
