Transient Ischemic Attack Overview
A transient ischemic attack (TIA), or mini-stroke, occurs when the supply of oxygen is cut off to an area of the brain. Unlike the effects of a stroke, which are often permanent, the symptoms of a transient ischemic attack last less than 24 hours and usually less than 10 minutes.

During this time, mom gave me a new name because she couldn’t remember mine and she tried to tell me the poor dog needed surgery! Relax, Tootles is fine, and unharmed. Fortunately, after a while her speech and memory fell back into place and she took on the normal being of mom again.Since then, she has had her blood taken three times and each time it has shown that her counts are coming up! She hasn’t needed a transfusion at all this week! Her color is returning and yesterday, she even came downstairs and spent the day visiting with a friend! She is doing better folks!

About 4 months ago I started putting together a book of prayers, messages, notes, and many many encouraging words from all of you. I have been receiving encouraging words from all over (Slovakia, Africa, Czech, Hungary, Florida, Georgia, TN, MI, CO, TX, -just to name a few… so many of you who read my blog are included in that- Thank you!- You all have been praying for her and helping out so much! Thank you. Each time I received some encouragement, I printed it off and put it in her book so that she could also see how much God has been using His people to love her through this as well. She loved it!
