Third Day

Tonight Heather, Rodman, Lori and I went to a Third Day concert at the fair. This was my first Christian concert back home in Washington. It was incredibly moving to look out into the grand stand and see the seats filled with people who were just there to worship. All my memories of this place... up to this point have been with crazy concerts, high school graduations, and many awkward Jr. High moments ... I was thankful to be able to freely praise Him tonight as a new creation... I was in awe looking around at the multitudes of people who were gathered to worship...it was a joy to be with so many brothers and sisters.

It did my heart well tonight to be here. Right before going I learned of the news about my grandfather (Heather's Dad). He is in ICU right now struggling... doctors are giving him blood tonight to try and help. Heather will be able to meet up with the rest of the family in CA tomorrow morning. I was able to see him about two weeks ago... just didn't think that it could have been the last time.

Even in the midst of storms we can still stand and cry out, worship, and bow down to our Father.

My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. Psalm 84:2

Tonight was good.
