Truth

I have been reading some incredible passages lately:

“If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it but whoever loses his life for me and for the gospel will save it” Mark 9:35

“Do not call anything impure that God has made clean” Acts 11:9, 10:15 I was reading this and felt really convicted in my thoughts of people. God tells us to care for the poor, the homeless… yet, if I was honest I would have to say that I can put people, things, and situations in categories based on my small world view. God calls us to love our neighbor… no matter who they are- not pass judgment on them.

“I saw the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices. My body also will live in hope, because you will not abandon me to the grave nor will you let your Holy one see decay. You have made known to me the paths of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence. Acts 2, Psalm 16:8-11
