When posting blog entries you just never know who is going to read them.

Shortly after coming to Slovakia a friend of my mom’s began reading my Blog. In fact we corresponded a few times through email, but obviously had never met. When I went to Seattle for Christmas, I had the opportunity to meet this devoted Blog reader. Can I just tell you that God works in crazy ways sometimes? Upon meeting my new friend, he handed me a bag with six new bibles. He said that for some reason when he was in the book store, he felt that he really needed to buy these for me. Well, at the time we all thought that perhaps the bibles could be used in our Monday night study…Hmm…

As many of you know I have had the incredible opportunity to watch what happens when you quit and just let God do the work. What I mean by this is that a new English Speaking service has been started here in Bratislava… and it has been so easy for those "Pioneers" who have been seeking to honor Him through each part of the process! There are incredible miracles blanketing the beginning of “The Well.”

Yesterday, I met with the small group of people from The Well My heart started to pound as they talked about a few needs of this new service. My mind began to race as I thought about the things I might be able to contribute… wait a minute! I have new bibles, thanks to my Washingtonian friend who acted upon a little tug on his heart. Don't you love it when that happens?
